Monetary Assistance
HEMAT works on the old Chinese proverb, Give a man a fish and you feed him for one day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Millions of people in the world stay hungry for days and they cannot get out of poverty. HEMAT is a small organization but it is doing its part by working thru its partners to help the needy in USA and abroad.
We have helped women to buy sewing machines to sew garments and make living, rickshaws so that men can work and live decent life, and fruit-vegetable carts for the street-hawkers to live respectable life. We have given small one-time loans to the widows so that they keep their families out of the vicious cycle of poverty.
We have also helped people to pay their house rents to avoid them becoming homeless. For immediate needs we work with our local partners to feed the unfortunate homeless and needy.

Supporting Orphans
In Islam helping an Orphan is considered one of the most noble acts we can perform. HEMAT does this thru its partners who have been providing shelter, food, clothing, and education to the orphans, abandoned, and homeless little children with love and care.
